"Uda Yakuto no Yado Yatakiya," located in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, amidst abundant nature and about an hour from central Osaka, is an inn that renovated a 300-year-old traditional house to host a maximum of four groups per day. We invite you to enjoy a stay where the warmth of a traditional Japanese home blends with modern comfort, enveloped by the serene landscape of the satoyama, allowing you to refresh both your mind and body.

Please spend your time at a leisurely pace amidst the beautiful scenery of all four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lush green mountains in summer, vibrant autumn leaves, and serene snowy landscapes in winter.

Yakuto (Herbal Bath) Making Experience

This experience allows you to create your own unique herbal bath using locally grown medicinal herbs. In addition to Yamato Toki leaves, we offer a variety of other medicinal herbs. You can choose your preferred aroma and benefits to create your original Yakuto bath additive. When you take your bath, immerse yourself in your handmade Yakuto and enjoy the sensation of warmth permeating deep into your body.

Weather Observation Tour

This tour is designed to help people learn and experience the traditional wisdom that humans have cultivated through their interaction with nature. In the refreshing air of early morning, you will explore the nature, shrines, and farms around Yatakiya with a guide, enjoying the seasonal beauty of nature while listening to stories about medicinal herbs and plants.

Duration: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM (90 minutes) on the morning after your stay

Location: Around Yatakiya

Target Age: 6 years and older (Elementary school children must be accompanied by an adult)

At Yatakiya, you can choose from four unique guest rooms for your stay. Each room offers its own distinct personality, providing a relaxing time whether you are traveling solo or with family. The rooms are "Kagiroi," "Koraku," "Manyou," and "Mahoroba."

This Japanese breakfast allows you to enjoy dishes made with Yamato Toki harvested from the Yatakiya herbal farm, along with "chagayu" (tea porridge) made with organically cultivated black beans from Uda City.
