Accommodation Plan with Oil Treatment featuring Yamato Toki and Herbs

Located in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, amidst abundant nature and about an hour from central Osaka, "Uda Yakuto no Yado Yatakiya" is a beautifully renovated 300-year-old traditional farmhouse. This inn accommodates a maximum of four groups per day. We invite you to enjoy a stay where the warmth of an old private house blends with modern comfort, enveloped by the serene landscape of the satoyama, allowing you to refresh both your mind and body.
 
Experience the beautiful scenery of all four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lush green mountains in summer, vibrant autumn leaves, and serene snowy landscapes in winter. Please enjoy your time at a leisurely pace.

  • Yakuto (Herbal Bath) Making Experience
This experience allows you to create your own unique herbal bath using locally grown medicinal herbs. In addition to Yamato Toki leaves, we offer a variety of other medicinal herbs. You can choose your preferred aroma and benefits to create your original Yakuto bath additive. When you take your bath, immerse yourself in your handmade Yakuto and enjoy the sensation of warmth permeating deep into your body.

  • Organic Herb Oil Treatment from Uda
Using medicinal herbs nurtured by Uda's nature and gentle ingredients, "Relaxation Salon u.d.a" offers healing for your mind and body. Our skilled therapists, with 18 years of experience, will provide your treatment. Experience deep relaxation and a sense of liberation with a full-body treatment using 100% natural essential oils from organically cultivated Yamato Toki and other herbs grown in Uda.

Weather permitting, treatments in nature are also possible. Enjoy a complete refresh and a truly special experience. Forget your daily routine and spend your own luxurious time slowly at "Yatakiya," a place enveloped by deep, rich, and energetic nature.

Location: Guest room: Mahoroba (Outdoor treatment possible if requested and weather permits)
 
Time: Between 10:00 and 16:00 on the second night of your stay (approx. 120 minutes)

Schedule: Changing, counseling, essential oil selection → Full-body oil treatment with 100% natural Uda-grown essential oils (90 minutes) → Changing
 
Simultaneous treatments are not possible.


Accommodation

This plan includes accommodation in the "Mahoroba" guest room, Yatakiya's most spacious room, featuring a private garden.

Maximum 4 guests per room.


Dinner (18:00)
Our creative Italian cuisine features local ingredients and medicinal herbs, designed to be gentle on your mind and body and allow you to feel the season. Organic wines, craft beers, and the chef's recommended wine pairings are also available.

Breakfast (8:00)
This Japanese breakfast allows you to enjoy dishes made with Yamato Toki harvested from the Yatakiya herbal farm, along with "chagayu" (tea porridge) made with organically cultivated black beans from Uda City.

Only one therapist is available, so simultaneous treatments are not possible.

Treatments are for health maintenance and relaxation purposes, not for medical treatment.

 

Please note that we may refrain from or interrupt treatments if any of the following apply:

Individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes, epilepsy, or other medical conditions.

Individuals with malignant tumors, aneurysms, arteriosclerosis, or varicose veins.

Individuals with with contagious skin diseases, severe athlete's foot, or skin inflammation.

Individuals with a fever of 37 degrees Celsius or higher.

Individuals who have undergone surgery within the past six months.

Individuals with significantly weakened physical strength.

Individuals who have experienced fractures due to osteoporosis.

Individuals with injuries, burns, bruises, sprains, or muscle tears.

Individuals with fever due to colds, influenza, etc.

Individuals with infectious diseases.

Individuals who are heavily intoxicated.

Individuals who are pregnant or may be pregnant.

If the client touches the therapist in ways outside the treatment content / if the therapist feels endangered / if there are actions or statements that could cause harm / or if the therapist deems it inappropriate for any other reason.

 

We cannot be held responsible for refunds or liabilities if your physical condition worsens after the treatment.
